Saying Goodbye

Today was one of those bittersweet days. We were able to spend time today with friends Sean & Tracey, their 5 kids, and Tracey's parents Lynn & Cyril. Alyona, Tanya and the other 5 kids played "Pig" with Bill & I. It is amazing how quickly the girls are picking up phrases & words. It won't be long until they are speaking English well. It was fun to see all the kids at the table with us playing a game together.

Most of you who have followed the blog know that we've had a close relationship with Lynn & Cyril these last two months while Sean & Tracey were in Ukraine. We've camped together, gone crabbing together, shared many meals, laughed & cried together, and really enjoyed one another's company. The time has come for Nana & Papa to head home. We enjoyed supper and an evening of visiting yesterday, and said our tearful goodbyes. We will miss them. We hope that we will be able to get to their place in Alberta someday....and enjoy more of their great company. Safe travels until we meet again. We love you!
