Is it November?

Is it really November?

Today was a beautiful day. We hit 65, and it was sunny, warm and beautiful out. Audrey was here for the day, and although we had lots of fun with her, she napped 2 1/2 hours (she really likes Aunt Shawnna & Uncle Bill's sleep number bed!), so we were able to get outside and get some things done while she snoozed.

It was really hard for me to put my plants away in the garden shed this year Most everything was still blooming. Some things had certainly given up blooming robustly, but most everything was in great shape, with the exception of the neglect I'd shown them this last few weeks when it has rained. I don't think I've ever had flowers this late in the year, that have still looked this nice.

Bill & Ryan spent the day working on the load of wood we had delivered (yes, we bought wood our first year here in Oregon ever) they moved the wood in about 4 hours, and the wood shed is full for the winter, with reserve in the field below. Bailey felt she needed to guard the wood shed after they got it full. She either liked the sun or really was just very comfortable there!

We rounded out the day with pizza for supper, and a fun movie night together. It will be fun, since we get an extra hour tonight.
