Monday & Tuesday--Busy Days!

Monday actually started off Sunday evening with the gathering of kitchen pots, pans, crock pots, utensils, serving trays, spices, and other needed items for our Monday School Thanksgiving Luncheon. We cooked a turkey, and Bill carved it up, and we packaged it all up, along with the other items going to school and packed it in the truck for Monday morning.

Monday we woke, got dressed, and off to school we went. Everyone in the classes were to bring something--unprepared, and four wonderful women, led by Tracey and her sister-in-law Jamie cooked our meal for us! It was wonderful. Mashed potatoes (with the yummy sour cream, cream cheese in them), sweet potatoes with a hint of brown sugar and cinnamon (mashed), dressing, corn, gravy and Turkey. We had a wonderful meal, a great gathering, and it was lots of fun.

After school on Monday, we headed into Corvallis, as Bill & I had some banking to do.....so we picked him up, and brought him home with us! (He has been carpooling with Sean, so he didn't have a car there)

Tuesday morning started bright & early with Tracey dropping off Declan & Kimberly, so that she could take Alexis to school as there was a class change for her. Being the difficulty she had last week, Tracey wanted to spend some time at the school, and make sure that Alexis was in the right classroom this time! Tracey and the girls headed to school, while Declan, Kimberly, Ryan, Kristin & I headed into work for Dr Joe. There were some strict rules set before we headed into the building, and all four of the kids were great. They went above and beyond the behavior I required. All four of them did their school, Kristin helped Kimberly finish up, and then Kristin & Kim watched Mary Poppins while the boys played GI Joes and had a blast playing I-Spy out the window of the office building, and playing some game where you pick a color car, and whoever gets the most in the parking lot wins! We arrived at work earlier than normal, and the kids were so good, that I finished earlier as well. It was a great day at work. We ran some errands and then arrived home in time to get a few hours of play in before Tracey came back to pick up the kids.

Check out the pictures....Kristin & Kim played dress up--Ryan & Declan Nerf Guns--check out the pictures---as one of Declan looks 3-D, and another you can see the nerf dart swirling through the air towards me!

Tomorrow I will take Bill to Sean's so he can catch a ride to work, and then I will head up to Salem to pick up Jen & the kids, so that we can head over to the coast earlier in the day, and have camp set up along with a fire ready when the guys get there after work. Brady will pick up Bill on his way through Corvallis...as we are all spending Thanksgiving on the coast this year. Watch for more pictures at the end of the weekend...as I hope to have TONS!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanks for posting and recapturing our day. It was fun to share in the festive Thanksgiving meal at school. I am so grateful for the help that Jamie provided! I also love the pictures! Your 3-D picture and the one with the dart flying are great!!!!
