Weather in Sweet Home

I find it hilarious, that on our winter weather warning that has been in effect since Sunday(which by the way keeps getting extended because it has not done what they said) now states this at the bottom:

"It is worth noting that model forecast scenarios have varied considerable over the last few days...so details about precipitation types and storm evolution are far from certain at this point."

We were to get 18-24 inches over the last two days at 1000 feet and above. We are just below the 1000 ft mark, (not by much), but have seen nothing. Corvallis and Eugene have been covered in ice for three days until last night when it finally warmed up a bit. It rained all night everywhere (thank heavens it wasn't snow), and began to snow just after 7:30 this morning. We have a dusting on the floor just about to cover the grass. Town is still just rain. Hoping for today to just have rain in the valley, as BIll has a DR appointment today prior to our departure tomorrow.

Just some fun pictures of Kristin in the snow. Ryan said it was too slushy..and did not go out. Kristin did not stay out long!

Those prayers are working..keep them up! Thanks so much!! We leave tomorrow around noon. We plan to head south through California, and then East along I-40...we hope to have a clear shot!
