Relaxing Day in Georgia

We woke at 9am--feeling so rested!! It was nice to sleep more than 6 hours, and in a quiet, warm and cozy bed! No kids in our room to sleep walk, no doors slamming outside. The sun was shining when we got up, and Ryan & Nick had been up since 7:30. The girls slept until 10:30. We enjoyed a morning of coffee--visiting, and just relaxing.

Bill, Ryan & Nick played with a marble race set...where you build a track, and run marbles every which direction. They had a blast. The girls had some "girl time" and have enjoyed being together. All four of them took off a few times to ride bikes in the neighborhood. A real treat for our kids who do not have cement to ride on (or flat land!).

We showered, had lunch, and Tam & I took off to do some shopping, and get some "Sister Time" It was a great afternoon. Bill is suffering a headache today...so he rested while the kids stayed home and played.

We are getting ready for supper, and then will take a ride to go see Christmas lights. The temperature is now 55 degrees, and we are to get a high of 70 tomorrow...so the cold front has passed through. We are hoping for a nice, sunny, warm Christmas!

Stay tuned...more Georgia fun to come...

So glad you have had a good day. Enjoy the warmth. We had snow this morning and still have some but the roads are clear. Praying that Bill's headache will "go away"! Hugs from us.
